the perfect photo

What is Needed To Get The Best Result On Your Portrait:

A close up, high resolution, digital photo in good lighting.

  1. Close up – choose photos where your subject fills the photo from chest upward.

  2. Good lighting – natural lighting (like indirect sunlight) typically results in the best photos. No harsh shadows on faces. No flash or red eye. If indoors, try to take a photo of your subject near a window.

  3. Digital & high resolution – If you zoom in and see detail on your subject’s face, that’s a winner! If it is grainy or blurry when you zoom in, that means I can’t see or capture all those little details that bring your subject to life!

*Please note if your subject has passed away, and you do not have a photo that meets these requirements, please email what you have and I will advise if I will be able to work with it.

Good Photo Examples:

Subject's face is well-lit, in focus, and free of harsh shadows. When you zoom in, you can see detail.

Bad Photo Examples:

Subject is either too far away, blurry, the photo is too dark, or the subject has dark shadows across face and is pixelated.
